For author Margriet de Schutter, Anne Marie Westra-Nijhuis from EPLÚ Management Support provided the final editing of the taboo-breaking book 'Stoppen & Doorgaan'. In addition, she had the overall coordination for the design and final printing of the book.
In this book, Margriet de Schutter interviews 15 Dutch major names in sports, such as swimming athlete Pieter van den Hoogenband, and speed skaters Erben Wennemars and Yvonne van Gennip. For example, topsports player Stefan Groothuis who has conquered depression, or Christijn Groeneveld who suffered a spinal injury from a fall. Frankly unique, these sports heroes reveal what the change has done for them and especially: how did they go on.
Margriet de Schutter trained from 1998 to 2010 in national short-range selections. She has written the scenario for the documentary 'Diepgaan voor Vancouver' ('Going deep for Vancouver'), which has been awarded in Milan at the major international sport film festival. Her book 'Stoppen & Doorgaan' is a must read for everyone experiencing change - inside and outside the world of sport. Since January 2017, the book has been available on the website of extopsporter.nl.
"Anne Marie, thank you for your incredible flexibility, your professional and structured way of working, thinking along with me, your advice, all editing and making this book ready for publication, what we have achieved in such little time!" - Margriet de Schutter
